Description

Heritage rices are really a treasure that has been handed down from generations to generations. During the Manila Fusion, a Manila-Spain gastronomic fair, at the SMX convention center I was able to sample many heritage rice prepared by some of the best chefs in the Philippines. That Ominio sushi was heavenly.

I have always imagined that the rice terraces are gilded with gold during harvest. It is an amazing sight and site! This is a large artwork that in my mind captures the treasures growing on the slopes of the mountains.
